Patricia was launched in 1938 from Smith´s Shipyard in Middlesbrough, England. For the better part of the next decade Patricia worked as a light - ship, setting and marking passageway throughout the English Channel.

Patricia played a major role for the Brits during the evacuation of Dunkurque. In 1944 Patricia was part of the first line of ships during the D-Day landing at Normady.

Winston Churchill spent time on the ship during the war and we have aptly named our first class 35 seat "private" room in his honor. We do take special party reservations in "The Churchill Room", ask one of our staff if you would like to see "The Churchill Room".

After the war, Patricia is rebuilt into a private luxury yacht for the English Royals. During 1952 Queen Elisabeth used Patricia as her own private yacht. She lived onboard and entertained the worlds elite during the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki, Finland.

In 1986 Patricia moors in Stockholm and opens as a maritime entertainment center. It was a success from day one. Newsweek magazine appoints Patricia as one of the foremost meeting places in the world.

Over the years, the top Swedish and international stars have visited and performed. Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, ZZ Top, along with Swedish stars Ace of Base and Marie Fredriksson (Roxette), have "Rocked the Boat"

In the heart of Stockholm lies the Restaurant boat Patricia. It is permanantly docked between Southern Stockholm (Sodermalm) and the old town (Gamla stan) in the area commonly called Slussen. Slussen is very centrally located and is easily accessible by cab, bus or subway as there is a stop called Slussen. Patricia is a short walk from the old town (Gamla stan) and southern Stockholm (Sodermalm)

With four bars open year round and two other outside bars open in the summer, there is something for everyone onboard. The main restaurant is on the second level and has a spectacular view over the water and skyline of Stockholm. The top class international menu changes every couple of months as seasonal favorites are introduced. Fajitas have been a regular favorite for many years. Making a reservation is highly recommended as the restaurant quite often is full.

On the same level as the restaurant is the Smoke Room bar. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, the stars of tomorrow play their original music as record companies regularly scout for future talent. During the weekends, cover bands start at 20:00 and entertain till the early hours of the morning.

The nightclub opens two floors down at 23:00. Some of Sweden´s top DJ´s fill the dance floor until closing (05:00) with the most current and trendy dance music.

During the summer months, Patricia is a popular spot for boats to pull up to and enjoy the evening. People watching and boat watching become a popular way to pass the time.

Year 2008 till ??? The Party Starts Now! Patricia remains one of Stockholm´s hottest nightspots Wednesdays: our famous Lobster Evenings. Every Wednesday year round-fresh live Maine lobster for 129Kr. Reservations are recommended for this popular night!
